KELT welcomes new Operations Coordinator!

I am incredibly excited to join KELT and introduce myself to you as Operations Coordinator. You may have crossed paths with me at Morse Pond Preserve in Georgetown this summer where I was working on a trail extension out to the pond. Thanks to many fantastic volunteers the new trail is open! I highly recommend checking it out, the pond is beautifully serene, and is now one of my favorite places.

I am delighted to continue on with KELT as Operations Coordinator where I will be helping out with all different aspects of conservation work! From educational programming, to easement monitoring, to office administration, I am excited to assist and learn much more about the myriad of work KELT does.

I first joined KELT as an Americorps volunteer through the Maine Conservation Corps in May of this year after graduating from the University of New Hampshire. There I studied sociology, environmental conservation and art. Through classes and a semester at an environmental field studies program in New Zealand, I became increasingly passionate about the interconnections between the environment and people. KELT is the perfect, vibrant place to explore this relationship and grow my understanding of the natural world.  I grew up in Vermont, with the environment as an integral part of my adolescence, and am thrilled to have the opportunity share that with the KELT community.

I am really looking forward to working with the KELT members and broader community, and welcome any opportunity to meet new faces and have conversations!

I can be reached at or (207) 442-8400.

Stop by the office sometime and say hi!
