LOCAL Garden Berry Rescue Workday

Calling all gardeners– novice and experienced– to lend a helping hand this summer season!

When: Saturday, June 25 at 10:00 am

Where: LOCAL Garden in Bath (click HERE for a map)

The Sagadahoc Chapter of MOFGA (Maine Organic Farmers & Gardeners Association) is offering a volunteer workday with the Kennebec Estuary Land Trust (KELT) at KELT’s LOCAL Garden in Bath.

This workday event, open to families and adults, will focus on rescuing the community garden’s berry plants (raspberries and blackberries). In addition to helping the LOCAL Garden thrive over the summer months, participants will care for plants to be harvested this summer and fall for use at local community meal programs.

KELT’s LOCAL Garden is located at the corner of High Street and Lemont Street in Bath.

Please RSVP to: Becky at bkolak@kennebecestuary.org or 207-442-8400
