Four Conservation Organizations offer series of birding walks in the Midcoast Region
KELT, Merrymeeting Audubon, Harpswell Heritage Land Trust, and Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust have collaborated to offer multiple opportunities to visit beautiful natural places and watch for a variety of birds from forests to farms to the shoreline.
Wednesday, May 9 at 7:30-9 am
Join us for a birding walk at Harpswell Heritage Land Trust’s Curtis Farm Preserve (1554 Harpswell Neck Road, Harpswell). John Berry will lead participants through fields and forest to look and listen for a wide range of spring birds. Find out why local birders come back again and again to this birding hotspot. Bring binoculars and sturdy walking shoes. Space is limited and advance registration is required. FMI: www.hhltmaine.org, outreach@hhltmaine.org, 207-837-9613.
