Help remove invasive plants at the new Lilly Pond parking area!
When: August 2, 9:30am-12pm
Where: Lilly Pond Community Forest
We need your help to remove invasive plants at the new Lilly Pond parking area!
Volunteers are needed to help remove non-native, invasive plants around the newly-constructed parking lot at Lilly Pond Community Forest in Bath. No prior invasive plant removal experience necessary – only a willingness to wade into the weeds! We will provide training and tools and families with children are welcome.
The workday will be led by KELT’s new Land & Stewardship Coordinator, Tenley Wurglitz, and two of our summer interns – Kaia Williams and Dylan Canarelli — and we hope you can join us!
The workday will be capped at 15 participants and registration is required. Once you register, we will send a confirmation email with more details and directions.
