Exploring Nature Through Story!
This spring and summer, KELT is excited to offer storybook trails on our preserves and trails across the region! As you walk your favorite trails, you will read a story page by page, exploring as you go.
With the help of passionate volunteers, KELT has designed storyboards that will serve as temporary exhibits. Come to one or come to all for nature themed stories and outdoor activities for children 6 years old and younger. With a chaperoning adult, young children will be able to walk a trail, explore a preserve, or visit LOCAL garden while reading a beloved children’s nature book one page at a time.
Come explore the beauty of spring at the Greenpoint Preserve while reading “Downeast in the Ocean: a Maine Counting Book” by Peter and Connie Roop.
