Water Sampling Program Highlighted by EPA

We’re excited to announce KELT is featured in a new guide from the EPA! Advancing Watershed Protection through Land Conservation: A Guide for Land Trusts is for land trusts interested in cultivating their watershed protection efforts and gaining more familiarity with the Clean Water Act. It also covers important topics such as watershed terminology, EPA programs and sources of funding for land conservation projects, prioritizing lands and stewardship actions for water quality protection, and communication tools.

KELT's community science water quality program is the first of five real-life examples of water-centric work pursued by land trusts.
