Working Toward Improving Access to Lilly Pond!

Parking remains limited for Lilly Pond Community Forest in Bath but on August 31st the first step for change begins.

We are in the initial stages of developing an improved parking area for the popular Lilly Pond Community Forest in Bath's south end! The first big step is the removal of a house on High Street condemned by the City of Bath.

Between August 31st and September 3rd, the structurally unsafe house containing toxic insulation will be professionally removed. KELT is working closely with the City of Bath and our neighbors to ensure safe and proper disposal of all harmful materials.

Trails at Lilly Pond will remain open during this work. However with the reduced parking at Goddard Pond (due to local sewer construction), please be prepared with a back-up trail to visit if spaces are full. Try exploring another one of our preserves!
