A vernal pool is a seasonal, fish-free pool of water that provides valuable habitat for a variety of plants and wildlife. Cheri Brunault, Stewardship Consultant, will lead participants sharing information about vernal pools' ecological significance and how to identify different critters that live in these special habitats. Come ready to hike off trail and listen for chorusing amphibians calling for their springtime sweethearts!
