Join AMC and KELT on Earth Day to celebrate nature, share thoughts about what we can each do to help make everyday Earth Day and learn a bit about this wonderful preserve near downtown Bath.

Monday, April 22 at 9:00am at Lilly Pond Community Forest in Bath

This AMC outing is a joint venture with KELT. KELT’s Program Director, Becky Kolak, will join the walk to share the history of this preserve and plans to expand it. A mixture of upland forests, rocky woodlands, wetland forests, and open wetland, the preserve protects 900 feet of frontage on Lilly Pond, the headwaters of Whiskeag Creek. There are about 3 miles of trails for us to explore. Come do a little "forest bathing" while enjoying what nature can give us on a spring morning.
