Join us for free hot chocolate and treats at Bath’s favorite outdoor ice rink!

KELT is partnering with the Bath Y and Brightfield School for a new initiative called Get Outside, Bath! We will be hosting free outdoor outings for families in our community - and KELT is kicking things off with an ice skating party!

Bring your ice skates, friends, and family to Goddard’s Pond, the outdoor ice rink lovingly maintained by Bath Parks and Rec on Saturday February 8. The warming hut will be open, with free hot chocolate, cookies, and salty snacks for anyone who stops by. Staff from KELT, the Bath Y, and Brightfield will be there with trail maps and ideas for how to get outside even in these cold temperatures! There is plenty of adventure to be had in the Kennebec Estuary in the winter.

If you don’t have skates, reach out to Bath Parks and Rec to learn more about their incredible free ice skating loaner program every winter. You are also welcome to just come by and enjoy the atmosphere, even if you don’t skate!
